Raw Foods Online

Raw foods are in their most natural state: Unprocessed, uncooked (or in the case of meat, only cooked up to a certain temperature to preserve nutritional content), ideally grown and harvested from the wild without pesticides or other chemicals.

Even basic processing can reduce the nutritional benefit of a food, eating food in its most natural form is ideal to be able to absorb the highest possible nutritional content.

Some raw foods include:

  • Uncooked vegetables
  • Uncooked fruits
  • Raw, untoasted nuts and seeds
  • Unprocessed dairy –┬ánon-pasteurized/non-homogenized
  • Fish and meat – not heated above a maximum temperature of 46 – 48┬░ Celsius.
  • Herbs and raw spices
